Under the supervision of the Service Planning Administrator, the Data Collector is responsible for collecting data about customer transactions and service performance. The Data Collector performs various types of survey work including vehicle boarding/alighting counts, on-street point checks, and one-on-one customer interviews. Survey work may be assigned during Long Beach Transit (LBT) service hours and may include any locations within the service area. This position provides written and oral summaries of observations and operates electronic data collection equipment. The Data Collector provides support to the Service Planning Specialist in developing survey materials, performing data entry, and offering overall support for agency projects.

Salary: $21.38 / hour
